Registration forms for scientific conferences (attendance, oral communication, poster communication): The data you provide us with through these forms will be processed for the purpose of managing your registration for the conference in the chosen modality (attendee, attendee with presentation of communication), maintaining the necessary communication with the attendee, sending information relating to the event or conference and issuing the certificate of attendance or certificate of attendance.

Acceptance of sending information about our services and news of the sector / Newsletter subscription: The legitimacy for the processing of your data is the consent of the data subject (Article 6.1.a RGPD). You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe from receiving these messages by following the instructions provided in each communication.

 

PERIOD OF CONSERVATION OF YOUR DATA:

Your personal data will be kept for as long as the pre-contractual or contractual relationship established is maintained and subsequently for the periods established by law for their conservation or for the prescription of liabilities arising from the processing of personal data for a maximum of three years.
In those cases in which the legitimation is consent, until you request its deletion or withdraw the consent given, and thereafter during the periods established by law for its conservation or for the prescription of liabilities arising from the processing of personal data.

 

COMMUNICATION OF DATA:

No communication of data is foreseen, except in those cases in which the transfer is legally foreseen. The data of those attending the scientific conferences who present papers will be published in the book of abstracts of the conferences, which will be available on the Genyo website.

PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING: registration and control of access to the physical premises of the Genyo building, both for external visitors and for our own staff and those of the various organisations that carry out their work or provide services at the centre.

LEGAL BASIS: The processing of data is justified on the grounds of FIBAO/GENYO’s legitimate interest in ensuring the security of its premises (visitors, external parties) – Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR; the performance of a contract (workplace staff) – Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR; and legal obligations (occupational health and safety, evacuation plans) – Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.

DATA RETENTION: Data will be retained for a maximum period of one month (Rule 5 of Instruction 1/1996 of 1 March issued by the Data Protection Agency, concerning automated data files established for the purpose of controlling access to buildings), except where it needs to be retained in the event of a security incident or the detection of unauthorised access.

DATA DISCLOSURE: The data may be disclosed to companies and employers located in the building (e.g. UGR, Pfizer or contractors), insofar as this relates to the coordination of occupational safety for their own staff; to the State Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies in response to a court order or in the context of an investigation into a criminal offence or administrative offence; and to accident insurance mutuals or labour inspectors in the event of a workplace accident or emergency on the premises.

PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING: Capture and recording of images by CCTV cameras to ensure the security of property and premises, as well as of the people present on the premises.

LEGAL BASIS: The processing of images is justified on the grounds of a public interest mission (video surveillance for security purposes) (Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR) pursuant to Law 5/2014 of 4 April on Private Security and Article 22 of Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

DATA RETENTION: The images will be retained for a maximum period of one month, except where they need to be retained to provide evidence of acts that threaten the safety of persons, property or facilities. In this case, the images will be attached to the police report and retained for the sole purpose of making them available to the relevant authority; they may not be used for any other purpose.

OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE YOUR DATA: Access to the premises entails the recording of your image by the video surveillance systems.

DATA DISCLOSURE: Law enforcement agencies. Courts and tribunals.
