During his visit to GENyO, the Government Delegate highlights the success of the Investigo Programme, which promotes young talent and research in the province.
The representative of the Andalusian Regional Government in Granada, Antonio Granados, today gave a ‘very positive’ assessment of the Investigo Programme, an initiative of the Regional Ministry of Employment, Business and Self-Employment (CEETA) that has enabled the recruitment of almost 150 young researchers in the province with an investment of over €10 million.
The Investigo Programme, which is now entering its final phase, was launched at the end of 2022 as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan for Andalusia with the aim of encouraging research organisations, universities and technology centres, among other public and private entities, to hire people under the age of 30. This was recalled by the Andalusian Government delegate during his visit to the Pfizer–University of Granada–Regional Government of Andalusia Centre for Genomics and Oncological Research (GENyO), one of the 25 entities that benefited from the initiative and have been able to strengthen their research services and expand their staff thanks to it.
