The European Researchers’ Night, which we will celebrate in 2024 on 27 September for the thirteenth consecutive year and at the same time as in almost 400 European cities. In the 2024 edition, La Noche is once again committed to filling the streets and squares of Andalusian cities with workshops, experiments, routes and talks on science and research.
The Pfizer – University of Granada – Junta de Andalucía Centre for Genomics and Oncology Research (GENyO) in Granada is once again joining this event with a series of activities, following the tradition of previous editions.
Programme of activities
“El despertar de los GENyOs”: During this activity, researchers from the Pfizer – University of Granada – Junta de Andalucía Centre for Genomics and Oncology Research (GENyO) will interact in an informative and entertaining way with students from various educational centres, in which the researchers will share their professional careers, lines of research, motivations and their passion for science. The aim of these talks is to bring science closer to young people and encourage their interest in this field. The talks will take place from 10:00 to 13:30 with a half-hour break.
“Carpa de GENyO”: In this activity, open to all audiences, short talks of around 20 minutes each will be given. In total, this year there will be 9 speakers who will share their knowledge and experience in the scientific field. The tent will be open from 17:50 to 20:50.
“GENyO 4 kids”: This activity is designed especially for young people who are curious about science. Participants will be able to explore the scientific world through workshops and experiments, these are:
