GENyO is hosting UniStem Day at its facilities on Friday 22 March 2024, a day dedicated exclusively to the scientific dissemination of stem cells.

The Pfizer-University of Granada-Junta de Andalucía Centre for Genomics and Oncology Research (GENyO) is participating in UniStem Day on 22 March 2024. Since its inception in 2009, UniStem Day has become a key event aimed at high school students, with the goal of fostering understanding and interest in stem cell research.

UniStem Day not only seeks to promote learning and discovery in the field, but also to stimulate debate on scientific and innovation topics. This event represents a unique opportunity for participants to immerse themselves in research, learning first-hand about the work of researchers and exploring the mechanisms behind the latest advances in this crucial field.

During the day, students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, including informative talks, interactive games, debates and a tour of the centre. In this way, participants are expected to gain a deeper understanding of science by discovering its fun side.

UniStem Day 2024 will be attended by 97 universities and institutions from different countries. IES Blas Infante (Ogíjares), IES Cerro de los Infantes (Pinos Puentes) and La Salle Virgen del Mar (Almería) will participate in the day to be held in GENyO, as well as different researchers with an outstanding career such as Dr. Francisco Javier Molina, Dr. Pilar Muñoz or Dr. Rosa María Montes among others.
