A delegation from Cúllar Vega visited the “Genyo” Centre, where, thanks to the staff, they were able to learn about the work that is being done there.

Cúllar Vega Town Council has donated the full proceeds of all funds raised during the traditional Puchero de San Antón last January – 2,300 euros – to the Pfizer Centre for Genomics and Cancer Research (Genyo).

The mayor of the town, Jorge Sánchez, together with the board of the ‘La Huerta’ Women’s Association and councillor María Ángeles Polo, visited the centre to see where the donation would ultimately be used, the council said in a statement.
